Thank you United Way!!!
CHN selected to receive major funding from the United Way of Greater Cleveland
The Cleveland Housing Network was selected to receive its first contribution of $75,000 for credit counseling for low-income residents through United Way's new funding strategy. The agency will direct $20.6 million to 126 local agencies.
CHN is 1 of 21 organizations that will receive program specific funds for the first time starting in 2009 through 2011.
United Way’s support certainly will make a difference in the lives of those served by CHN. This support will help CHN provide critical credit counseling to families preparing to purchase their first home or those who are struggling to keep their home from foreclosure.
CHN is proud to add United Way to its family of funders. Thanks to their generous support, CHN is able to continue to offer low income families a strong foundation from which they can build their lives, and the tools they need to establish long-term stability.
