Digital Connectors are a multicultural team of high-achieving Cleveland public high school students who have a passion for using technology to advance both their professional development and make a difference in their community. Digital Connectors are challenged during the eight-week summer program through technical training, site visits, mentoring, and starting a small business of their own design. Digital Connectors put their skills to use by serving as teacher’s assistants and one-on-one tutors in the Level I and Level II computer classes at the Center. Digital Connectors come from a number of Cleveland Public Schools including East Technical, Lincoln West, Max Hayes, and Rhodes High Schools.
A scrapbook of the program can be found on-line at http://www.chnnet.com/cttc/dcwebsite
The program is modeled on One-Economy's Digital Connector Program.
