The Cleveland Foundation
The Cleveland Foundation is the country's original and second-largest community foundation. A leader in the national philanthropic community, the foundation has profoundly influenced the development of the nonprofit sector in the 20th Century. Since 1914, The Cleveland Foundation has been instrumental in cultivating strong, economically viable neighborhoods in Cleveland and its tremendous investments have been a critical catalyst for community-wide development initiatives.
Thanks to the foundation's generous, long-standing support, CHN, through its member CDC(s), continues to deepen its mission of creating vibrant neighborhoods and pathways out of poverty for low-income families through homeownership and lasting employment.
