The Cleveland Foundation
The Cleveland Foundation is the country’s original
and second-largest community foundation. A leader in the national
philanthropic community, the foundation has profoundly influenced the
development of the nonprofit sector in the 20th Century.
Since 1914, The Cleveland Foundation has been
instrumental in cultivating strong, economically viable neighborhoods in Cleveland and its
tremendous investments have been a critical catalyst for community-wide
development initiatives.
Thanks to the foundation’s generous, long-standing support, CHN,
through its member CDC(s), continues to deepen its mission of creating
vibrant neighborhoods and pathways out of poverty for low-income families through
homeownership and lasting employment.
Bruce Murphy
As President of Community Development Banking at
KeyCorp,
Bruce Murphy has spearheaded innovative community development
initiatives that are making a
difference in low-income communities including Key Basic Solutions and
Key Home Advantage
.
CHN is particularly grateful for Mr.
Murphy’s deep commitment to CHN’s Lease Purchase Program and its
Community Training and Technology Center.
Bill Faith
Bill Faith is Executive Director of the Coalition on
Homelessness and Housing in Ohio (COHHIO),
an organization committed to ending homelessness and promoting
decent, safe, fair affordable housing. Under Mr. Faith’s steadfast
leadership, COHHIO has successfully framed homelessness within the broader
context of improving housing policies for at-risk individuals and families.
In 2003, Mr. Faith galvanized a coalition of housing producers from across
the state to secure $50 million in dedicated, annual support for the Ohio
Housing Trust Fund.
