Through a partnership with Cuyahoga Community College, CHN is among over 50 ABLE/GED preparation sites in Cleveland. Offered at no-cost, the classes cover math, reading, writing, employment readiness, and post-secondary education preparation.

There are two series to choose from—a fall session from August through December and a spring session from January through May. Classes meet every Monday and Wednesday from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. at our Community Training Center at 2999 Payne Avenue, Suite 134, Cleveland. Free parking is available.

To take GED prep courses at CHN:

Call the ABLE/GED hotline at 216-987-3201 to schedule your orientation and assessment.
You will be given the option to take the test at Tri-C’s Metro or Eastern campus. At the test site, you will be able to choose Cleveland Housing Network/Community Training Center as the site where you would like to take your courses. You do not need to start the series in August or December. You can join at various times during the semester, between August and December or January through May.
