We are currently seeking candidates for the following positions:

PARTNERSHIP CONTROLLER
Full-Time Posisition

REPORTS TO: Director of Finance

By working in close collaboration with the Director of Finance, the Partnership Controller is accountable for the financial operations for each of the operating, developing and multifamily partnerships that the Cleveland Housing Network is responsible for fiscal management oversight. Financial operations include overseeing the accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and bank reconciliations for each partnership entity plus developing sound budgets, all internal and external financial reporting, cash flow planning and management, contruction contract management, identifying variances and generating effective strategies to address variances.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting with CPA. (Candidates that have partially passed the exam, with the intent to complete can qualify);
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience that includes financial statement preparation, preferably for a real estate company or with Low Income Housing Tax Credit partnership, financial analysis, problem solving and staff oversight/ management or related experience
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reporting–Internal & External: Generate timely and appropriate financial reports, including budget to actual income statements for all partnerships;
  • Cash Management: Create cash flow projections and maintain positive cash flow;
  • Budgeting: Department and annual Partnership budgets
  • Administration: Internal controls, system changes and upgrades, payroll oversight
  • Staff supervision and development
