CHN’s Lease Purchase program offers low to moderate-income families an opportunity to own a quality, new construction or fully renovated affordable home. This program is designed for individuals who have the desire and the ability to maintain their home.

Qualified applicants must have a history of timely rental payments and a commitment to help care for their home for a period of 15 or 20 years. For newly constructed homes, qualified applicants must have a stable income and good credit history. After successfully completing the 15 or 20 year rental term, families have an opportunity to purchase their home for an amount significantly below current market value. Lease Purchase Program families receive home care and maintenance education through Cleveland Housing Network.

CHN’s Lease Purchase program accepts Section 8 certificates or vouchers.
